Join us at the Royal Christmas Fair!
This year 6 Degrees will participate in the Royal Christmas Fair at the Lange Voorhout in The Hague. The fair is from 8-23 December 2022 and opens its doors every day from 9.00 - 21.00 hrs. Please visit our booth with our beautiful, handmade, woolen blankets, hats and stoles. They are produced by our Nepali partner Trikaya. We also offer handmade notebooks made of recycled paper produced by our Nepali partner Jamarko.
About Trikaya
Established in 1986, Trikaya Nepal makes high quality handcrafted fashion apparel and wool products made of sustainably produced nature fibres. The essence of Trikaya’s products is the age-old art of knitting and weaving, hence building value for the families involved in its creation. Trikaya currently employs about 25 women.
Jamarko was established in 2001 as a small cottage industry with the view of contributing towards environmental conservation and to provide employment to the underprivileged, especially women. While Jamarko’s short-term objective is to minimize the amount of waste paper, the long-term goal is to help conserve natural resources and habitats, and promote local handmade products.
