Chitwan Eco Village
The Chitwan Eco Village is our flagship concept that encompasses several of our projects into one integrated community based income generating initiative for marginalised communities in Chitwan. The Chitwan Eco Village includes the following:
Soap Studio . We are looking for partners to help us further develop the workshop.
Sustainable paper mill. This project is on hold.
Organic farm which is already fully operational.
Comprehensive training programmes to develop the skills of the marginalised communities to be able to run and operate the Eco Village in the long term.
The idea behind the Eco Village is to provide different income generating opportunities for marginalised communities in an environment that allows them to continuously learn and earn regular income while being able to take care of their families and communities.
Total Economic and Social Impact
We believe that the economic and social impact will uplift the entire Chitwan population through distribution of wealth from the Eco Village.
Funding
